Adding a Console User

Console users are those who can access the Liminal EMM console on a PC. These users should only be administrators who are trusted to access your device and worker inventories.

To create a new console user:

  1. Navigate to your org, and select Settings > Users.

  2. Click Create.

  3. Enter the user's first and last name.

  4. Enter the user's work email.

  5. Select the user's role. This determines their permissions and level of access.

    • Global admin. Has access to all sites, settings, and configurations.

    • Site admin. Has access to specific sites and only settings and configurations that are set at that site's level.

  6. Select Update password. If you do not create a password for the user, there will be a record for them in the system, but they will not be able to log in. This is so you can pre-create accounts then link them to SSO later.

  7. Enter and confirm a password for the user.

  8. If the user is a site admin, use the arrows to select which sites the user will be able to access.

  9. If the user is a site admin, select whether they have access to remote control features for their assigned sites.

  10. Click Save.
