Approving an Application in your Managed Google Play Store
Approving an app in your Managed Google Play store is the first step in application management. Once the app is approved, it will be available in the device's Managed Play Store. You will also have management options in the Liminal EMM console including:
To approve an app
-
Navigate to your organization or site, and select the Apps tab.
-
Click Add Application.
-
Search for the app you want to approve.
-
Click Approve.
-
Review the required permissions, and click Approve.
-
Select how you would like to handle new permission requests from the app. New permission requirements can be added by the app developer via app updates.
-
Click Done.
For information about configuring and distributing apps, see Creating App Configurations and Pushing Apps to Devices.
If you have private apps uploaded to the Google Play Store associated with your Android Enterprise account, you can use Liminal EMM to distribute and manage them just like any other app. For more information, see Google's documentation Publish private apps from managed Play in your EMM console.
