Users and Workers
There are two main categories of people who interact with Liminal EMM:
-
Users interact with the Liminal console on a PC to perform administrative and IT tasks.
-
Workers interact with the devices managed by Liminal EMM to perform warehouse tasks.
To maintain security and consistency across your environment, it is considered best practice to follow the principle of least privilege. Only give people the access and permissions necessary to complete their tasks, nothing more. If someone doesn't need access to the Liminal console to perform their daily tasks, they should not be granted access.
Types of Users
Within the Liminal console, there are global admins and site admins. Global admins operate at the organization level and have complete access throughout your environment. Site admins operate at the site level and are assigned specific sites where they have limited administrative access.
For more information, see The Liminal EMM Hierarchy and Liminal Console User Articles.
